Jeff and I used to walk home together in HS now and then as we had to go the same way; I remember how shocking it was to hear about his death freshman year of college.
Jeff had a big heart - one that was big enough to include everyone. That's a gift, and he didn't have anyone who disliked him.
Jeff used to play the piano for me in junior high. My favorite song was the Scott Joplin ragtime tune "The Entertainer". He would play it over and over for me. Another favorite memory I have is when we would go sledding up at Thornton Park with Ellen McWilliams and Blake Martin. A good time was had by all!
