Graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A. in Communication Arts; served as a Supply Corps officer in the United States Navy, where I earned a Navy Achievement Medal; returned to Cincinnati in 1995, where I returned to banking as a trust administrator. In 1998, I left banking to serve as chief of staff for three different members of Cincinnati City Council. I was also a public information officer for the Ohio Department of Transportation, and a senior manager of public affairs at Wal-Mart before becoming an elder full time.

Kinsman Lee Lanes was one of my most memorable spots in Shaker Hts. I remember winning my first in house doubles tournament, and winnning the first King of the Hill tournament. I came in fourth place in the city tournament.

Tay was a beautiful person.  I took art classes with her at Byron.  What an amazing talent she had.  I do remember that she committed suicide.  I was in complete shock; now, as I reconnect with many that I attended school with, it is clear that so many were dealing with such a variety of burdens.  We cannot change the past, but we can honor those who preceded us in death by remembering what they added to our lives.  Tay added a lot to so many lives.
